JAWS

He knew who got, him, down but, “I promise you officer we don’t know who got, him, down”

If the interview room was the sea, then the boy was the swimmer and two police officers happened to be the sharks that lurked in the shallow end of the shore, patiently awaiting their first droplet of blood...

“Blud, I don’t know who got, him, down, And I’ll never tell you who did so could you loosen this grip? I can’t feel my wrists, you man are taking the piss!

Unaware of his minor wound, it was at this point he began to bleed. The sharks sense the struggle in the naive swimmer,

They zone in strategically as their prey tries to escape

The officer replied: “How much time will this take ? I told you before, if it wasn’t you then it must have been your mate”,

“We saw the CCTV , we saw the tape, if only you knew the decision you’re about to make”

“You have two options give or take, to create or dissipate, do you think they’ll believe you now if you say you didn’t 'snake'?”

“How about we falsify the documents so everyone could read how you break, how you broke , how you shattered to pieces when the freedom of your friends was at stake”

“You could never go back home, you know that’s a mistake, you’ve forfeited your place! Do you want to understand how isolation tastes?”

“Do you want to know how it feels when the very people that raised you look at you with distaste in their mouth and contempt on their face?

The swimmer’s strokes suddenly become weaker and weaker as he realises that he’s failing his escape. Meanwhile his conscience is pulling him deeper and deeper as he forgets the lies he’s yet to create, and starts thinking of which one of his boys to implicate.

The sharks jagged teeth attach to a pound of his flesh and with a swift motion start pulling him down, and in anguish he let out his final sound.

So as soon as he told the truth in the interview room, that was the exact moment in which the swimmer drowned...
